The leading south coast privately owned motor group have put pen to paper and agreed be the Official Vehicle Suppliers of the Hampshire FA for the 2022/23 season.

Hampshire FA has traditionally served its members as a regulatory body for the grassroots game in Hampshire. However, the county FA has continued to grow, evolve, and transition over the years as a service provider to the local football community through the introduction of football hubs and state-of-the art facilities. The county FA continues to deliver to the objectives as set in the National Game Strategy in partnership with The Football Association with the vision of using the power of football to build a better future in all areas. This has certainly been evidenced by the combined and extensive membership database of users at each of the sites, showing the essential role the county FA plays in serving its local, grassroots football community.

The Peter Cooper Motor Group has teamed up with the Hampshire FA. After meeting earlier in the year, the leading south coast privately owned motor group have put pen to paper and agreed be the Official Vehicle Suppliers of the Hampshire FA for the 2022/23 season.

Darren Cooper, Managing Director at the Peter Cooper Motor Group, added: "This partnership will focus on supporting and developing the local community which we as a group, have now been doing for over 40 years. We are really looking forward to getting further involved in grassroots football. This is further testament to our commitment to growing our local engagement through the Peter Cooper Motor Group Foundation. We celebrated our 40th year in business last year and throughout the year the staff helped raise £40,000 for charities, which was an amazing achievement and one I am extremely proud of."

Peter Cooper Motor Group will retain exclusive naming rights as Hampshire FA’s Official vehicle suppliers for the 2022/23 season. Hampshire FA has three main sites across Hampshire, including the Stoneham Lane Football Complex (Southampton), Winklebury Football Complex (Basingstoke) and the Front Lawn Community Hub (Havant). The partnership will see Peter Cooper Motor Group provide Hampshire FA with a large Volkswagen Transporter van which will be utilised for the transportation of kit and equipment at events including the Grassroots Football Awards ceremony and all Cup Finals in the 2022/23 season.

Both organisations are closely aligned with the local community and charity projects. Last year, the Peter Cooper Motor Group launched its Foundation which showcases the company’s commitment to local businesses, schools, charities, and sports organisations which underlines its engagement in the community.

Hampshire FA Chief Executive, Neil Cassar, said: "We are delighted to partner with the Peter Cooper Motor Group for the new season ahead as the Official Vehicle Partners of the Hampshire FA. The sponsored van is essential to everything that we do as an organisation and required by every department in the entire association.
