Hampshire FA Grounds & Maintenance Forum 2023
Hampshire FA has teamed up with partners including Fleet Line Markers, MH Goals, Southern Ground Care, Technical Surfaces, Rod Gaskin Ltd, MW Turfcare and The GMA to host a Grounds & Maintenance Forum designed with grassroots clubs in mind.
The forum will take place as follows:
What: A series of indoor presentations and outdoor demonstrations delivered and designed with grassroots clubs in mind.
Date: Wednesday 1st March 2023
Times: 9am – 4pm
Location: Stoneham Lane Football Complex, Stoneham Lane, Southampton SO16 2PA
Cost: FREE to Hampshire FA members (with a FAN)* and Local Authorities. Refreshments are available to purchase from the café on the day.

Stoneham Lane Football Complex will once again host the Hampshire FA Grounds & Maintenance Forum in 2023. The forum is open to local authorities and grassroots club and league representatives, along with any grassroots football members with a FAN. Grounds Manager at Wembley, Karl Standley, will open the forum with a presentation and talk to all members in attendance. Additionally, the suite will be kitted out with tables containing materials of information, a team of experts on hand, and ready to talk to members, indoor presentations, and outdoor demonstrations of products, machinery, and equipment delivered by Hampshire FA partners.
Following presentations, members will be invited outside where they will meet our partners to demonstrate their products and services on offer (taking place on the artificial and grass pitches), be on hand to advise members, and discuss individual club requirements/needs. At the end of the outdoor demonstrations, members will be invited back in for a prize draw and closing talks.
The forum has been designed with grassroots clubs firmly in mind and for all those unsung heroes who maintain the pitches, week in and week out, from the line marking, and putting up the nets to ensuring the turfs are cleaned and prepped before and after every match.
