Hampshire FA commence new collaboration With Adopt South
Hampshire FA is delighted to announce the launch of a new, two-year collaboration with Adopt South. Operating across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, Adopt South is a Regional Adoption Agency dedicated to finding homes for children who are unable to live with their birth parents or wider family.
In April this year, Adopt South became operational, bringing together, in partnership, the adoption expertise of Hampshire County Council, Isle of Wight Council, Portsmouth City Council and Southampton City Council. Adopt South offers enhanced support throughout the adoption process to adopters, adoptive children and their families.
This collaboration will see Hampshire FA promote Adopt South and the range of services the agency provides to those involved in the adoption process. In particular, the agency hosts an array of information events, leads preparation training courses and additional support workshops. The training programmes even include the use of virtual reality headsets in order to ensure that they provide the best preparation possible.

Neil Cassar, CEO of Hampshire FA, said, “We are proud to announce our support for Adopt South as the newest members of our commercial supporters club. They provide comprehensive and important adoption support services across the region. We are pleased to have theme on board and we look forward to developing this partnership hopefully long into the future.”
