30/10/2024 - Grounds Teams on Tour - SALTEX Conference

Hampshire FA is piloting a new initiative to further support the grassroots football community and grounds teams, welcoming members from Hampshire and beyond. Grounds Teams on Tour will provide return transport to The Grounds Management Association's, SALTEX (Europe's Premier Grounds Management Show) event on Wednesday 30th of October at The NEC in Birmingham, departing from Hampshire FA's Stoneham Lane Football Complex in Eastleigh.

This event / course is for: Grounds Teams on Tour is open to all local authorities, schools, colleges, universities, grassroots football clubs and football league representatives in all counties.

To celebrate Hate Crime Awareness week 2024, Hampshire FA are delivering a Hate Crime Awareness workshop in collaboration with AFC Bournemouth, AFCB Community Sports Trust, and CPS Wessex.

This workshop is for: Members of the local community and grassroots coaches, volunteers, players & referees, it is open to all.

LGBTQ+ awareness workshop + Q&A session delivered by Louise Englefield, Director of Pride Sport.

This workshop is for participants involved in grassroots football who want to learn more about the Rainbow Laces campaign, homophobia in the game, terminology, and best practice for creating inclusive, welcoming, and safe environments for the LGBTQ+ community in football.
