The Hampshire FA Facilities & Investment team are hosting a free workshop for clubs, schools and facility providers.

WHO IS THE WORKSHOP FOR?

- Schools, clubs and sport providers based in Hampshire, especially in North East Hants, Fareham, Gosport, Havant, Isle of Wight, and Portsmouth LocalAuthorities- schools.

- Clubs & sport providers who want to learn more about community engagement and available grants

- Schools, clubs and sport providers who are at the start of their planning journey

- Schools, clubs and sport providers who are doing a community engagement piece for a facilities sport grants

If you wish to attend this workshop, we encourage you to bring along another volunteer, colleague, or friend who can support you with the application process and share the knowledge gained during the workshop. 

TOPICS THAT WILL BE COVERED IN THE WORKSHOP

- Sport England's and Football Foundation's priorities

- Facility Grants available

- Multi-sport usage and Playzones

- The basic principles of community engagement

- Community Engagement vs Consultation

- Football Foundation's community engagement toolkit

- Identifying local priorities and groups- examples of local community engagement

The workshop will be interactive with two practical exercises and the opportunity to ask questions and exchange with other applicants.
