The Hampshire FA Grassroots Football Awards provides the opportunity for you to show your appreciation to all the people and organisations who have given their time to support, develop, sustain or deliver the game in our county. There are thousands upon thousands of incredible volunteers who give so much week-in, week out, come rain or shine, in clubs or leagues, as officials or in other set-ups.

Show your appreciation by sparing a few minutes to nominate them for an award.

Hampshire FA Foundation Awards

A Hampshire FA Foundation Award, is open to all clubs/leagues/groups/individuals and/or anyone actively involved in the grassroots game in Hampshire. We welcome nominations from all set-ups and backgrounds, provided that the nomination can strongly demonstrate a commitment to one or more of the Foundation's objectives including: disability football, community coaching and equality, diversity and inclusion.

Hampshire FA Partnership of the Year Awards

The Hampshire FA Partnership of the Year Award, sponsored by Paris Smith Solicitors is open to Hampshire FA affiliated clubs and/or leagues. We invite our members to put forward their nominations and best practice examples of the work and successful outcomes they have achieved by working with one of their partners. Please note that the partner MUST still be associated with the club or league in the current 2024-25 season if the submission is based on work and achievements from the previous season.

Hampshire FA Grass Pitch(es) of the year awards

Sites are invited to enter their grass pitches to be judged by industry professionals and local experts who will determine the contenders. There are two opportunities to secure a place in this award category – a winners and a runners-up award, with this announced on the evening of the Hampshire FA Grassroots Football Awards ceremony which will take place on Saturday 26th of July 2025. 

This award prioritises grass pitches across the county that are using PitchPower. The goal that we are collectively working towards is to ensure that grass pitches are of 'good' quality by 2030. We will take several factors into consideration including overall pitch maintenance and usage levels, condition of the pitch and other associated factors such as litter, fencing and goals. Minimum criteria for the award: The site has had a completed PitchPower inspection The PitchPower report verifies the pitch/majority of pitches as 'good' The report must be valid for this 2024-25 season.

Hampshire FA 3G ATP Pitch of the YEAR AWARDS

The Hampshire FA 3G ATP Pitch of the Year Awards are judged by industry professionals and local experts who will determine the contenders. This award is open to clubs, schools and other set-ups, provided the site meets the minimum criteria to enter. There are two opportunities to secure a place in this award category – a winners and a runners-up award, with this announced on the evening of the Hampshire FA Grassroots Football Awards ceremony which will take place on Saturday 26th of July 2025. 

The minimum criteria for the 3G pitch:

• On the 3G register (FA or FIFA approved)
• At least 3 years old
• Open for community use
