Following the success of Female Only Coaching Courses last season which saw over 70 new female coaches complete their Level One in Coaching Football; Hampshire FA have developed a more comprehensive Female specific programme for the 2019/20 season.

As a result of feedback and consultation with women and girls in the game, there was a clear desire for female only environments for coaches to develop as individuals and to learn alongside others with shared experiences within the game.

The programme includes two Level Ones in Coaching Football, one Level Two in Coaching Football incorporating workshops and CPD to bridge the gap between each level of the coaching pathway. The workshops and CPD sessions are FREE to access and include the opportunity for coaches to join their local Hampshire FA Coaches Community as well as an overarching Female Coaches Community; creating opportunities to network and support peers within the game in both formal and informal settings. A number of these courses will be delivered by our Female FA Affiliate tutor and additional support for learners will be provided by Female FA Coach Mentors, ensuring relevant and continued contact throughout each individual’s coaching journey.
