Hampshire FA's Foundation Ltd (formerly Hampshire FA Community Trust) was the first charity established and aligned to a county FA in England!
The Hampshire FA Foundation Ltd (formerly the Hampshire FA Community Trust) was established in 2005 with an emphasis on community participation. The Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation which aims to support the football community by investing in programmes and initiatives designed to support three key objectives including:

Who is your favourite and most inspirational player of all time and why? Matt LeTissier - because of his goal scoring skills and his loyalty to his club.
How did you get involved in football and who if anyone inspired you? My involvement is through being the MD of HFA’s main sponsor – BSA-Regal Group.
What are your roles in the game aside from being a Hampshire FA Foundation Ltd, Trustee? My only other role is as Company Secretary for Sholing FC.
One interesting football fact about yourself: I have never played the game at any serious level.
One non-football related fact about yourself: I have three children, Rachel, Beccy and Louis.
What inspired you to become a Hampshire FA Foundation Ltd, Trustee and what skills and expertise do you contribute to the charity? I learned of the Trust through BSA-Regal’s sponsorship of HFA and felt that I could offer my many years commercial experience and knowledge to help the Trust in making a positive difference to the lives others through football .

Who is your favourite and most inspirational player of all time and why? Matt le Tissier, watched him every week as a season ticket holder at the Dell, pure magic!
How did you get involved in football and who if anyone inspired you? My daughter played in a boys team as there were no girls teams available.
What are your roles in the game aside from being a Hampshire FA Foundation Ltd, Trustee? Enthusiastic supporter
One interesting football fact about yourself: I skived off school aged 16 to get Alan Shearer, Neil Ruddock and Matt Le Tissiers autograph!
One non-football related fact about yourself: I am mum/ step mum to 5 children.
What inspired you to become a Hampshire FA Foundation Ltd, Trustee and what skills and expertise do you contribute to the charity? Asked as my professional role is working in Barclays Premier banking. We have the ability to support charities and complete matched fundraising and it was a natural fit to combine my love of football with charity and use my own financial skills to support the trust.

Favourite football team? QPR I was a season ticket holder all of my youth and it was the family club
Who is your favourite and most inspirational player of all time and why? Rodney Marsh, A magician, an entertainer, ahead of his years in terms of skill, a goal scorer and boyhood hero.
How did you get involved in football and who if anyone inspired you? I have played since I was six and I still play at 56. My PE teacher Mr Longman who convinced me being tiny was not an issue it was to have a heart of a lion and tackle like my life depended on it.
What are your roles in the game aside from being a Hampshire FA Foundation Ltd, Trustee? Player and Secretary of Yarmouth and Calbourne, member of the IOWFDG and Council. National committee member of the English College Football Association
One interesting football fact about yourself? Since 1978 adult football I have played in every position on the pitch and have played three times at Loftus road in charity matches once being MOM
One non-football related fact about yourself? I regularly cycle 1000 miles in ten days for local charities in Europe with my friends.
What inspired you to become a Hampshire FA Foundation Ltd, Trustee and what skills and expertise do you contribute to the charity? It’s the opportunity to give something back to football and to support those that face challenges but still have a passion for the beautiful game. In terms of skills, I like to be creative and innovative when it comes to fundraising

Who is your favourite and most inspirational player of all time and why? Paul Gascoinge - most gifted England player in my lifetime
How did you get involved in football and who if anyone inspired you? I have had a love and passion for football all my life - it is my earliest memory. My first Panini sticker book in 1985 had me hooked!
What are your roles in the game aside from being a Hampshire FA Foundation Ltd, Trustee? CEO/, Hampshire FA; FA Council Rep, Hampshire FA; Director/Company Secretary, Hampshire FA; Director, Hampshire FA Leisure Operations Ltd; Trustee, Eastleigh & Southampton Football Trust Ltd, Chairman/Coach, Eastleigh Tornadoes Youth FC; Life Member, Mid Solent Youth Football League.
One interesting football fact about yourself: School 100m and 200m Champion!
One non-football related fact about yourself: Proudly from Maltese descent.
What inspired you to become a Hampshire FA Foundation Ltd, Trustee and what skills and expertise do you contribute to the charity? I have been involved with the Trust from its inception and it’s a great opportunity to support the Trust’s objectives of disability football, community coaching and social inclusion and cohesion. Proven background in football administration and development and within a strategic setting at Board level.

Who is your favourite and most inspirational player of all time and why? Gordon Strachan, I wanted to play like him!
How did you get involved in football and who if anyone inspired you? I was encouraged by my dad to play and was inspired by his career locally for Blackfield And Langley who I also went onto play for.
What are your roles in the game aside from being a Hampshire FA Foundation Ltd, Associate Trustee? Facilities and Investment Manager
One interesting football fact about yourself: Scored a hat trick in Hampshire Colleges Cup Final for Totton College against Tauntons College
One non-football related fact about yourself: I became a Great Uncle aged 13
What inspired you to become a Hampshire FA Foundation Ltd, Associate Trustee and what skills and expertise do you contribute to the charity? Previous experience in development of disability football and equality, still chair Regional Disability Forum and regional representative for EFDS

Applications are now open for clubs that have a Hampshire FA affiliated disability football team OR offer targeted support through football participation or coaching for any individual or group who fall under protected characteristics according to The Equality Act.
Grants are available up to the value of £500 for your club to invest in any of the following: Hampshire FA Foundation Ltd branded kit, venue hire, courses such as Level 1 Coaching, Coaching Disabled Players etc.
